Nepal Bank earned Rs.2.61 arba in Q4; maximum dividend capacity 35%

Nepal Bank has published Fourth quarter report of FY 2075/76 based on Nepal financial reporting standard (NFRS). It has reported decrease in net profit by 18.77% in the comparing period.

Net profit: It has reported net profit of Rs.2.61 arba in Q4 which was Rs.3.21 arba in the same period of last fiscal year.

As per the NFRS model, the bank has free profit after regulatory adjustments of Rs.3.41 arba which can be distribute as dividend to its shareholders. It can distribute maximum 35.17% dividend from income of this year.

Deposit: The bank has collected deposit Rs. 1.17 kharba in Q4 of FY 2075/76 from Rs.99.54 arba in Q4 of last Fiscal year.

Loan & advance: It had extended Rs.92.41 arba in loan and advances which was Rs.75.55 arba in same period of last fiscal year.

Net interest income: It has made net interest income of Rs. 6.17 arba in Q4 from Rs.6.38 arba in Q4 of last fiscal year 2074/75.

Expenses: The bank has made expanses of Rs.2.11 arba for staff salary which was Rs 2.14 arba in Q4 of last year.

Operating profit: It has posted operating profit of Rs 4.54 arba from Rs.4.84 arba in the corresponding quarter of FY 2074.75.

Paid up capital & Reserve fund: Paid up capital stands at Rs.9.81 arba. Reserve Rs.13.34 arba and retained earning at Rs.3.01 arba.

Its non performing loan stands at to 2.58% from 3.37%.
