National Life Insurance reports increased in net profit by 37.81% in Q3

National Life Insurance has published third quarter report of Fiscal year 2075/76. It has reported increase in net profit by 37.81% in comparing period.

As per the report, insurance has posted net profit of Rs. 30.60 crore in the Q3 of FY 2075/76 from Rs. 22.20 crore in same period of last fiscal year 2074/75.


Net insurance premium has risen to Rs.4.76 arba from Rs 3.94 arba in the same period of last year. It has earned Rs.1.48 arba from investment and Rs.22.77 crore from loan on policy collateral.

The company has made net payment of Rs.1.70 arba for claims and agent commission of Rs.50.45 crore. Its operating expanses increase to Rs.42.43 crore from Rs.36.76 crore in Q3 of last year.



It has 7.08 lakh active policies. The company still remains to pay claims of Rs.25.80 crore for 12,549 claims.

Currently, its paid up capital is Rs.3.01 arba with reserves of Rs.68.75 crore. It has maintained Rs.25.22 arba in life insurance fund and Rs.19.12 crore in disaster fund.

Its EPS stands at Rs.13.56 & net worth per share is Rs.122.85. PE ratio stands at 43.49 times.
