Lumbini General Insurance Company reported net profit surged by 24.97% in fourth quarter of fiscal year 2074/75.
As per the report, insurance company has posted surge in net profit of Rs. 23.87 crore in the Q4 from Rs. 19.10 crore in corresponding quarter of previous fiscal year 2073/74.
Net insurance premium has risen to Rs.77.93 crore from Rs. 75.12 crore in the last corresponding quarter. It has income from investment Rs.5.94 crore crore. Commission from reinsurance is Rs.11.99 crore.
The company has made a payment of Rs.62.61 crore for claims. The company still remains to pay claims of Rs.39.38 crore. It is able to sold insurance policies 151,828 units.
Currently, its paid up capital is 88.00 crore with reserves of 14.75 crore.
It has maintained Rs.44.54 lakh in insurance fund & Rs. 3.97 crore in disaster fund.
Its EPS stands at 27.13 & net worth per share is 171.88. PE ratio stands at 20.27 times.
