Arun Valley Hydropower Development Company posted huge decline in net profit of 61.06% in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2074/75.
As per the published report, net profit after tax decreased to Rs.3.53 crore in this Q4 from Rs.9.06 crore in the corresponding quarter of last year.
Major income of hydropower is from power sales. Income from power sales meagerly rose to Rs.5.20 crore from Rs.5.16 arba in the comparing period. Income from other sources is Rs.1.92 crore in Q4 of from Rs.7.86 crore in Q4 of FY 2073/74.
Operating profit decreased to Rs.5.44 corre from Rs.11.41 crore in comparing period. Operating profit decreased by 52.32%.
Its paid up capital is Rs.93.30 crore with reserve fund of Rs.3.95 crore. Reserve decreased by 57.75%.
Annualized earning per share is Rs.3.94 & net worth per share is Rs.104.23. PE ratio stands at 38.86 times.
