Sagarmatha Insurance Company Limited has published Second quarter report of Fiscal year 2075/76. It has reported increased in net profit by 20.81% in the comparing period.
As per the report, insurance has posted net profit of Rs.8.48 crore in the Q2 of FY 2075/76 from Rs. 7.02 crore in same period of last fiscal year 2074/75.
Net insurance premium reach to Rs.51.99 crore from Rs.45.66 crore in the same period of last year. It has earned 3.57 crore from investment in Q2. It has also earned re-insurance commission of Rs.15.07 crore in Q2.
The company has made a payment of Rs.24.51 crore for claims and agent commission of Rs.2.18. Its operating expanse increase to Rs.10.56 crore from Rs.7.57 crore in Q2 of last year.
The company still remains to pay claims of Rs.81.79 crore.
Currently, its paid up capital is Rs.53.82 crore with reserves of Rs.61.28 crore.
It has maintained Rs.48.87 crore in insurance fund and Rs.8.05 crore in disaster fund.
Its annualized earning per share stands at Rs.31.54 & net worth per share is Rs.319.62. PE ratio stands at 42.48 times.
