Commercial banks again decided to decrease growing Interest Rate. All the CEOs of commercial banks consent to decrease Interest rate.
As per consent of Banker Association, interest of Normal saving is fixed to maximum 6.5%. Interest rate for Personal fixed Deposit is set to maximum 9.25% & for organizational fixed deposit 8.5% annually.
Janta Bank Nepal has published press release that they have stop Special Fixed deposit schemes. By today, the bank has stopped 12% interest rate of Fixed deposit.
As per the bank, they have stopped schemes considering the liquidity crises in the banking industry.
