Nepal Life insurance company limited has reported net profit surged by 6.37 percent in third quarter of fiscal year 2074/75.
As per the report, Nepal Life Insurance has posted net profit of Rs.43.57 crore in the Q3 from Rs.40.96 crore in the second quarter of last year.
During the period, total insurance premium collection increased to Rs.10.77 arba from Rs.7.94 arba in the last year. Net insurance premium has risen to Rs.10.69 arba from 7.81 arba in the last corresponding quarter.
It has total policy holders of 11.12 lakh till now.
The company has made a payment of Rs.3.91 arba for claim. The company still remains to pay claims of Rs.94.89 crore
Currently, its paid up capital is 4.39 arba with reserves of 3.48 arba.
It has maintained 47.68 arba in life insurance fund & 32.54 crore in disaster fund.
Its EPS stands at 13.21 & net worth per share is 186.55. PE ratio stands at 87.40 times.
