National Life insurance reported net profit surged by 26.68% in fourth quarter of fiscal year 2074/75.
As per the report, insurance company has posted surge in net profit of Rs. 29.83 crore in the Q4 from Rs. 23.55 crore in corresponding quarter of previous fiscal year 2073/74.
Net insurance premium has risen to Rs.6.13 arba from Rs. 4.74 arba in the last corresponding quarter. It has income from reinsurance commission is Rs.3.00 crore. It has income from investment Rs.1.60 arba.
The company has made a payment of Rs.2.01 arba for claims. The company still remains to pay claims of Rs.18.71 crore. Existing number of insurance policies sold is 795,039.
Currently, its paid up capital is 1.65 arba with reserves of 50.68 crore. It is floating 60% right share to meet capital of Rs.2 arba by beema samiti.
It has maintained Rs.21.82 arba in life insurance fund & Rs. 14.61 crore in disaster fund.
Its EPS stands at 18.02 & net worth per share is 130.55. PE ratio stands at 44.35 times.
